This is the image for the news article titled Welcome Note from PrincipalYa'at'eeh. Welcome back to the new school year 2014-2015! My name is Carena Begay. I am the school principal at Red Valley/Cove High School. This is the start of a new school year and on behalf of RVCHS staff and faculty, I would like to say Ahé hêê for re-enrolling your child back to our high school. We are also appreciative to have new students enrolling at RVCHS.

We are looking forward to working with your child and teaching your child this school year.  RVCHS teachers and staff do their best to ensure quality learning and instruction throughout your child’s high school education. We are also looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and most of all working with you so that we can collaborate together on how to best address the needs of your child's education and to map out their future goals. Please encourage your child to be in school every day.  Attendance is important.

Good news to share! Our school is maintaining a letter grade of a C as a result of how we did for SY 2013-2014.  Our goal this year is to bring up the letter grade and work hard for further success.   Congratulations Parents, Students, Teachers and Staff! We would not have been able to accomplish this without your support and assistance. Great Job! Therefore, let's make this school year another rewarding and exciting school year for our children, our school, and the communities of Red Valley, Cove, and Oak Spring.

Sincerely,

Carena Begay
RVCHS Principal
