Welcome to Red Valley/Cove High School

Red Valley/Cove High School is located in Red Rock, Arizona, also known as Red Valley. It is located near the Arizona and New Mexico stateline about 11 miles northeast of Lukachukai, Arizona and 22 miles southwest of Shiprock, New Mexico which is about 25 miles southeast of the Four Corners. Our school was built in 2007; after the school opened in 2008 we graduated 3 students, and only 27 students. We also have 100% Navajo students who attend our school from different communities.

Today, we have approximately 50 students, ranging from 9th grade to 12th grade. The high school staff consist of the principal, 7 classified staff, 5 teachers, and 2 bus drivers.

Red Valley/Cove High School is a very remote location in north eastern Arizona. The majority of the people living in the area are Navajo Indians. There are not many employment opportunities in Red Valley, too which is a community that consists of one school (9th grade through 12th grade), a convenience store, a Navajo Nation Chapter House, and an elementary school.

Mission Statement
